The Gambian Football Association (GFA) have agreed to “protect the image of Under-17 players” after recently undergoing the MRI test on their players in Dakar, Senegalese.

Seedy MB Kinteh, the President of the Gambia Football Association yesterday told Pointsport that the results of the MRI test was not for the public and that the GFA will do everything possible to protect the boys’ images.

“Any player that qualified for the competition will be selected. We are not going to disclose who are not qualified for the World U-17 Championship in Nigeria,”

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is said to be a medical device for checking the exact age of a player.
