Girl, 10, needs urgent help

Amie Tambedou, a 10-year old girl and a native of Manduarr is suffering from congenital cardiopathy and therefore needs overseas treatment.  

According to her medical report, issued by the Royal Victoria and Teaching Hospital (RVTH) and  signed by Dr Juan Carlos Otero, the young girl  cannot be treated in The Gambia.

Abdoulie Tambedou, the father of the young girl, in an interview with this paper, said he cannot afford to pay his daughter overseas medical bills and is therefore soliciting support from government, philanthropists, institutions, as well as individuals to help foot the medical bills for his daughter.
