Speaking at the ceremony, the head of the delegation, Mrs Rita Donor, assured the health sector of their little contribution towards the betterment of the health services. She prayed for the babies to live long lives in future.

Madam Rita Donor thanked the president Professor Jammeh for the care and support he has rendered to the health sector. For his part, Dr Tamsir Mbowe, chief medical director of the RVTH, applauded the gesture of the women’s fellowship as a step in the right direction.

Dr Mbowe further pointed out that the Government alone cannot do it all, adding that private and individual support to the health care delivery system will go a long way in helping the health service.
