Thanks for allowing me to wish the people of the Republic of The Gambia a happy independence anniversary. I wish you a happy independence anniversary and many, many more to come. I also pray that God keeps guiding and protecting our lovely Gambia and its people as well as its leadership.

I want to say thank you to the president, Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya Jammeh for all the great things he is doing for The Gambia and its people.
We hear about all the great things that are happening in the country from our colleagues who frequently visit home, and we are glad about it all. Thank you very much, Mr President.
