One Mr. Ousman Suwarreh a driver, who was on 23rd August 2009,  involved in a fatal car accident that claimed one life was on 24th August 2009 arraigned before Magistrate Olajabutu Kayode of the Bundung Magistrates’ Court, charged with the offence of rash and negligent act causing death.

According to the particulars of the offence, the accused Ousman Suwarreh on 23rd August 2009, along Tallinding Highway, drove a motor vehicle with a registration number BJL 3979 commercial, thereby causing the death of one Karamo Manneh.

When the charge sheet was read to him in the language he claimed to understand, he pleaded guilty.

The Police Prosecutor, Sergeant 1042 Kujabi, applied for the case to be adjourned on the ground that the investigation into the accident is still ongoing, and that the case file has been sent to AG Chambers.

The case was adjourned to the 7th September 2009.
