One Ebrima Drammeh was recently arraigned before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Brikama Magistrates’ Court for assault causing actual bodily harm.

According to the particulars of the offence on Count One, on or about the 23rd April 2009 at Brikama Gidda, the accused unlawfully assaulted his wife Isha Drammeh by hitting her on the eye thereby causing her actual bodily harm.

On count two, the particulars of the offence read that the accused on the same date willfully and unlawfully damaged one arm chair and chairs belonging to Isha Drammeh.

When the charge sheet was read to him, he pleaded not guilty.
