I am a Canadian writer currently researching for an article about illegal fishing in African waters by foreign trawlers. I am aware this is an issue that affects people in The Gambia. I am hoping that the Daily Observer can publish this letter as a "letter to the editor". I would like to hear from people whose lives have changed because of illegal fishing.
