Jay Tose, others on collaboration project Thursday, February 12, 2009 The Gambian-Sweden based international hip-hop giant Jabel Sarr aka Jay Tose is currently working on a new project called “Jumpin” which will feature other international stars like the US-Jamaican born Mathew Johnson aka Matt U. This project according to the Gambia talents, has been choreographed by the determination and hard work of three young individuals who all reside in different parts of the world. “ It all started a while back when I came into contact with a super producer from Indonesia called Mo Charizma, who is the founder of the largest hip-hop community in Indonesia called ZeroOne. Mo Charizma introduced a beat to me which I later introduced to Matthew Johnson a.k.a Matt U who later come to play a very crucial role in the project. Matt U is an American-Jamaican artist with limitless talent. I personally appreciate his work. He has appeared in Grammy winning reggae legends Steele Pulses music video called The Door of No Return . And he received honours in New York this year for playing a part in the local music sector. I introducing the beat to Matt U, who saw definit potential right away and since then we work together to introduce to the world this the international single- Jumpin. This new single with absolutely astonishing music video was recorded in New York City USA,” he said. According to him, he travelled to USA in November to record the song noting that the song is not yet released but an epk video is released on youtube and various other websites. The epk became an immediate hit earning us honours in three different countries. Countries such as Sweden, Germany and Great Britain, were where we earned most honour. This great ordeal just shows the potential in which Jumpin posseses. It is considered by many a definite hit and the epk video speaks for itself, giving us nr.1 position in various titles. It has become the most discussed of the week, top favorite, most requested,” he said. The song is for people of all ages. It has no curse words in it and it is very catchy. “I myself is currently in business with thugline artist K-Mont on an upcoming album. We have produced songs featuring Krayzie Bone and other members of the legendary Bone Thugs N Harmony, we also have upcoming songs with Lil Wayne & The Game. The name of the album will be International Takeover, it’s the name we have chosen so far but everything is still in the early stages and nothing has been finalised yet. More information on that front will surely come soon.,” the young star revealed. So be on the look out for the highly anticipated dropping in the market very soon.
