Karmic Angels, an international charitable organisation in the Gambia registered by a British couple, Stephanie and Allan Turner, last week together with members of their board of trustees, held a fund raising to pay the school fees of six orphans and two less-privileged ones at a dinner held at Ali-Baba Restaurant, Senegambia.

The eight who benefited from the gift included Ebrima Bah, Sheikh Leigh, Landing Bojang and Nyima Dibba, all of Busumbala Medina Nursery School. Stephanie and Allan, used the occasion to state that investing in the less-previllaged in The Gambia is their priority. Receiving the money on behalf of the students, the proprietor and the headmaster of Busumbala Medina Nursery School, Kebba Ceesay, pointed out that the beneficiaries will have their education for one year without any obstacle. He thanked Karmic Angels for their contribution to nation building.
