Karmic Angels, an international charitable organisation registered in The Gambia by Stephanie and Alan Turner, a British couple, last Wednesday visited the Bakoteh multi-purpose skill centre, where they pledged to construct the conference hall, extra-classrooms, carpentary workshop, hair dressing centre and a library for the Bakoteh multi-purpose skill centre.
According to the acting director of the school, Alieu S Batchilly, many school leavers are now being trained at the center. He emphasised that this will help the students be more responsible in future. He then expressed gratitude to Karmic Angels for their support. Stephanie and Alan used the platform to elaborate on quality education, which they declared as their priority.
According to them, they will go back home in England, raise funds and come back to invest in the seven projects they have in The Gambia, which include the Bakoteh multi-purpose skill centre. Lamin Jarsey, chairperson, management committee, also thanked Karmic Angels for their support.
