A sensational first half strike from Basiru Bass was enough for the rejuvenated K.W.T side, formerly called Banda Bi to secure the first vital 3 points as the Bakau Nawettan continues to produce some wonderful and thrilling encounters.
Bantankoto that endured a frustrating start to the game fell 1-0 behind as early as 32 minute on the clock when instrumental Basiru Bass capitalised on a defensive error to drill home from a clinical finish to the delight of Kids, with talents Radio sports crew led by Sarra Camara.
Upon resumption, Bantankoto a household name in Bakau Nawettan almost levelled their advantage, through striker Lamin Jobe and team-mate Abdoulie Drammeh. But the duo’s brilliant attacking options were not good enough to earn them a happy movement.

“I would like to congratulate my players because they have really shown an incredible performance, especially during the first period, even though the tempo of the game was low in the later stage of the action packed game due to Ramadan,” he stated.
Sarra went further to commend Pa Nderry, Campo and the rest of Kwt sports crew for their continuous support and contributions and the management, in particular, for what he referred to as their wonderful efforts in initiating the move.
Sarra further went on to speak about the future of KWT team, noting that their ultimate objective is to establish a formidable team that will represent them in further competition. Sarra noted that he is conscious of the fact that finance plays a pivotal role in maintaining a team.
He also spoke about the need to maintain the team, noting that “we will do everything possible to finance the team which is their number one priority”.
