Three men were yesterday arraigned before Magistrate Sagarr Jahateh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court charged with two criminal counts of store breaking and stealing.

They are Sait Gaye, a security guard at Maline Security, Mbemba Njie, Sidat Fofana, and Demba Sowe who is at large.

The first accused person, Sait Gaye, pleaded guilty while the two other accused persons pleaded not guilty.

According to the particulars of offence on count one, the accused persons on the 20th January 2009 at GAMVEG Oil Company broke and entered the store of Mr Issam Bazzi thereby committing an offence.

The particulars of offence on count two revealed that the accused persons on 20th January 2009 at GAMVEG Oil Company stole 40 gallons of twenty-litre containers of oil valued at D26, 400 being the property of Issam Bazzi.

Meanwhile, the first accused Sait Gaye who earlier took his plea of guilty was cautioned and discharged on count one while on count two, he was sentenced to one year community services.
