One Hassan Hydara was on the 21st April, 2009, brought before Acting Principal Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court for allegedly being in possession of suspected stolen property, a charge he denied.

According to the particulars of the offence, the accused, Hassan Hydara, on or about the 26th March, 2009, at New Jeshwang was found in his possession a bag of clothes suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained.

He was granted bail after he told the court that he spent 25 days in cell at the Bundung Police Station.

First Class 2118 Gomez represented the IGP and the case was adjourned to the 5th May, 2009.
