Despite his side’s failure to record their first victory of the 2009\10 Bakau Nawettan season, the President of Milan FC who recently received the biggest support in the history of the club from Aegon and Ajax FC in Netherlands, Ousman Drammeh has once again expressed satisfaction for the gesture, given the fact that Milan FC were motivated by the sponsorship package from Aegon Company and its partner Ajax.

Cho as he is affectionately called told Pointsport that Aegon and Ajax FC through the help of his friend, Bas-Endlich have done a lot for them. This, he noted, has served as the main source of motivation for his side, noting that the game was the most impressive encounter since the commencement of the campaign for Milan that has failed to win in three consecutive games and are still struggling at the relegation zone with a single point.

Ousman Drammeh who also doubles as the Manager of Milan attributed his side’s goaless draw against their rivals and neighbours Katchically to the dismissal of Babucarr Sanneh who was given his marching order in the first period, following his second bookable offence to dash Milan’s hope of going home with their first victory of the summer championship.

The former Banda BII goalkeeper used the platform to commend his players for showing a high sense of maturity through the hard fought encounter. He urged them to put their houses in order to put up a remarkable performance ahead of their next encounter.

Milan that have had a perfect qualifiers were highly rated to make an impact in the Nawettan as a result of their brilliant qualifying round performances, but the team is still struggling to cope with life in the top flight Nawettan football.

But if the words of the Head of Milan FC Badou Conateh are anything to lean on, his side will do their utmost best in their strive to maintain a place in the Nawettan next season.

The confident-looking Coach, who also took the opportunity to commend his players for what he described as an outstanding performance, added “we played a better game but we were unfortunate to collect the maximum points despite our dominance in the game.”
