Mobile thief convicted Tuesday, February 03, 2009 The Kanifing Magistrates Court, presided over by Acting Principal Magistrate Sainabou Wadda-Ceesay, on Tuesday sentenced one Ismaila Joof to pay a fine of D300 in default to serve one month imprisonment. According to the particulars of the offense, Ismaila Joof stole a Nokia mobile phone valued at D6000 in Dippa Kunda on January 28, 2009. The phone was said to be the property of one Bakary Camara.
