Trust Bank Limited, in its efforts to satisfy the needs of the young people of the country, recently donated fifty thousand dalasis to the National Organising Committee (NOC) of the 2008 biennial National Youth Conference and Festival (Nayconf).

The presentation of the donation was done at the Department of State for Youth and Sports in Banjul. Speaking at the ceremony, Dodou Nyang, who represented the bank, outlined the importance of youth work in national development. Mr Nyang expressed hope that the gesture would immensely impact on the activities of the young people during the Nayconf in Farafenni.

In receiving the gesture, Sheriff Gomez, secretary of state for Youth and Sports thanked the management of the bank. He reaffirmed his department’s readiness to collaborate with them, noting that the donation was a step in the right direction.
