Speaking in an interview with Entertainment recently, the young Gambian Afro-manding described President Jammeh as a leader who always want the progress of the country. She added that the Gambian leader recognises the need and the important roles played by the music industry. She explained that with this support, her musical career would be boosted. The Brikama-born Afro-manding said the money donated to her by the President would be use to pay her studio cost and other expenditures. Neneh Jali Suso is wasting no time to take all Gambian by surprise in the music industry. Touching on the number of singles she released, Neneh Jali Suso said six tracks has been already prepared and three is on the preparation to be launched soon. The afro-manding musician called on other philantropist and NGOs to emulate the President in improving the music industry in the country.
The Gambian leader also donated a brand new Mitsubishi pick-up, and a cash amount of D200,000 to one Tijan Jallow an enterprising young Gambian artist. The gesture is mean to empower and enchance the work of Tijan Jallow and it came shortly after The Gambian leader received two portraits of himself done by the young artist.
