One and Half Million Bail Bond for Inspector Modou Manneh

Inspector Modou Manneh an Immigration officer attached at the Yundum Police station incharged of collecting identity cards who is currently standing trail at Brikama Magistrate Court has been granted bail of one and half million dalasi with two Gambian surety or with landed property within the Greater Banjul area.

The surety must provide original document. However the accused was granted bail by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh. The accused also told the Brikama Magistrate that he was detained for three weeks without being charged.

In response to that Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh told the court that since offence committed is bailable, he therefore grant the accused bail.

However when case resume police prosecutor Colley applied for an adjourned nothing that the investigation is still in progress.

It could recall that the accused was alledge stole the sum D1, 093,800 (one million and ninety three thousand eight hundred between the months of February 2005 to December 2006.
