The game that proves less attractive with many bleeding hearts as players square up against each other in the Wallidan team. The bickering abrupt ended after Wallidan striker Ballack’s penalty was comfortably saved by Mustapha Badgie in the 44th minute of the first half.
Wallidan in the 59th minute conceded a penalty when mid-field defender Sarjo Jarju handled the ball in the 18 yard box and ruled by referee Edu Gomez penalty in favour of Real. The resulting spot kick was saved by Wallidan goal man Ansumana Samateh.
Real De Banjul came close to breaking the deadlock when striker Muhammad Jatta’s close range header drifted over the bar.
Wallidan supporters scolded referee Gomez for ruling Ebrima Sonko’s 90th minute follow up tapping into Real’s net from play maker Issaka Dem’s free kick.
Real controlled most of the possession of the ball but could not convert any of the chances to a goal. Wallidan put up a late effort to snatch a late victory but it was referee Gomez’s ruling that disallowed Wallidan’s late goal that dampened their hopes.
