Following their 2-1 defeat in the hands of Bakau giant, Steve Biko FC, in Week Three of the 2008/09 GFA first division league at Brikama Mini Stadium, the head coach of Brikama United FC, Lang Kah Bojang, remained optimistic that his team would bounce back to winning ways by fighting hard to maintain top-flight football.
Coach Bojang made remarks to that effect yesterday at his residence in Brikama.
He said that his boys had missed a lot of goal- scoring chances against Biko. Coach Bojang assured fans of Brikama United FC, that he and his technical staff will do everything possible to make sure the team stays in the first division.
Coach Bojang is of the belief that his team had played to their best ability but could not level the score. Therefore, Steve Biko FC collects all three points.
He further revealed that Steve Biko FC was not a small team in the GFA first division league and has a lot of quality and experienced players that can threaten any defence line in the league. ---
He urged the fans to keep calm and continue supporting the team both morally and financially so that they can remain in the first division, and he also hailed BYSA for their support to the advancement of the team.
