Please allow me space in your esteemed paper to felicitate His Excellency Professor Alhaji Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh for the support he has been giving to the Gambia under-17 team in particular and Gambian sports in general.

His Excellency is a man of surprise and he is all the time surprising Gambians for the good of all. If men are categorised into medals - gold, silver, and lead, President Jammeh is a pure gold. There is gold in his kindheartedness and tenderness, warmth and humanity etc. The entire Gambians will always be appreciative of him for the magnificent job he is doing.

May Almighty Allah give him long life, good health and happiness. And may He  continue to protect and guide him to fulfill all he intends for our beloved Gambia. Ameen.
