Upper Nuimi Final RescheduleMonday, October 12, 2009
The final of the Upper Nuimi District Tournament between Jays and Tobakolong football teams, which was set for Sunday 11 October at the Pakau Saloum Football Field, has been postponed, according to District Sports Chairman, Momodou Bah. “The final is postponed until further notice,” he added. Sponsored by Honourable Mam Cherno Jallow, the National Assembly member of the area and organised by the Upper Nuimi Sports Committee, the Noran championship featured teams from the surrounding. The tournament is meant to develop football at the grassroots level. Earlier, defending champions Mass Sosseh of Kerr Mama made an early exit from the championship at the group stages. |
