The United States Telecommunications Training Institute (USTTI) has announced the publication of its 2009 curriculum, available on its webpage at (http://ustti.org).

In a letter dispatched to the Daily Observer, Michael R Gardener, Ambassador Chairman, USTTI, expressed a firm resolve in making modern communication a reality for all, not only to serve as a catalyst for economic development, but also as a driving force ‘to make ours a more connected and more harmonious world.’

This year’s curriculum, according to Gardener, features 97 diverse courses designed to address the sweeping changes   added, a high quality of their popular core courses has been rigorously maintained. Since its inaugural training year in 1983, USTTI, having been operating for over two decades now, has offered a total of 1,599 tuition-free training courses, empowering 7,794 women and men who are now among key regulators, communication managers, and IT providers in 166 countries.

Now, more than ever, USTTI’s experienced team of industry leaders and government officials remained dedicated to sharing their country’s communications advances with exceptional women and men from developing nations. Gardener urged prospective students to carefully review the diverse curriculum and apply for courses that will enhance their professional goals.

In order to increase one’s chances of participating in one of USTTI’s 2009 offerings, he advised, candidates must make sure that their applications are completely filled as they pay particular attention to the applicants’ training goals vis-à-vis their work experience. And all applications, he concludes, must be submitted at least 16 weeks before the courses scheduled start date.
