The GFA First Division newcomers, Ham Ham FC, on Monday suffered a 0-1 defeat in the hands of Bakau giants, Steve Biko in the ongoing pre-season tournament organise by the Kanifing Municipality Sports Committee. Steve Biko, who earlier drew goalless with Sea View FC in their opening Group A match are billed face Armed Forces in semi-final stage scheduled for the weekend.

At the time of going to press, Africell-Sait Matty were locking horns with Bakau United in the Group B match, while Sea View face Ham Ham today in Group A final final fixture.

The tournament, which involves six GFA First Division clubs, mainly Bakau clubs, aims to help the concerned clubs in their team-building process, ahead of the 2007 League Season. The preparatory tournament also has the objective of strengthening the existing relations between the sister-clubs.
