The Gambia U-20 team will host the Ivorian Olympic team in Banjul on Saturday as part of their preparation for the World Youth Championship finals in Canada.
The Gambian team is currently in camp ahead of the Saturday friendly match at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
According to the Gambia Football Association (GFA), Saturday’s match is part of coach Bonu Johnson’s preparatory programme. It is also confirmed that the team will leave Gambia shortly after the match for their proposed training camp in overseas which will be made known later.
Saturday’s friendly match will be the U-20 team first engagement since their return from South Korea where they failed to have no points in the tournament.
Meanwhile entrance fees to Saturday’s encounter is tagged at D25, D50, D500 for uncovered, covered and the VIP pavilions respectively.
The GFA solicits the cooperation of the general public to come in their large numbers to cheer the U-20 Scorpions.
