KG Sports Management, official sponsors of Bakau giants, Steve Biko, has donated a complete set of ‘Saller jerseys’ to Bakau Lower Basic School in a presentation ceremony held at the school ground on Monday.

Handing over the jerseys to the school authorities, the Chief Executive Officer of KG Sports, Mr. Kemo Ceesay, said the objective of the donation is to contribute towards the development of young talents at grassroot to become future national heroes and heroines.

“The building of star players commences at grassroot level. What motivated me most is the fact that most of Steve Biko former and current players have attained their primary education at the renowned school. This is the first time we are giving sporting gears to the school and hopefully it will not be the last time, as I planned to make it an incessant process,” he said.

Reacting to the gesture, members of staff of Bakau Lower Basic School, expressed delight for the gesture, saying it was timely and worthy.

The presentation ceremony was attended by senior teachers of the school including the Deputy Headmaster, Mr. Badjie, Sports Coordinator, Mr. Janneh, Senior Mistress, Mrs. Faye and the pupils of the school.
