Handball Congress Slated For Sunday

The Gambia Handball Association would be holding their triennial congress on Sunday July 29, 2007.

According to Momodou Max Jallow, the most awaited congress would be held at the National Sports Council Conference room at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

Mr. Jallow pointed out that 10 Handball clubs including Service teams have been invited to take part in the ground breaking congress.

He pointed out that the congress would start at 10.00am and all club representatives are urged to report on time.

The highlights of the congress would include the President and Secretary General’s reports of the activity of the Executive committee of the past years.

The treasurer is also expected to present the financial report of the executive committee.

The most important part of the congress would be the election into office of a new executive committee who will be mandated to run the affairs of the Association for the next three years.
