The Gambia National Senior team better known as Scorpions are expected to start three day camp in Cologne, Germany. The team, under the new management of Coach Anthony Hey, are preparing for their second outing in the 2008 African Nations Cup qualifiers against Algeria on Sunday.

Five players namely: Robert Badjie, Abdourahaman Conateh, Lamin Conateh alias Babayeh, Mathew Mendy and Abdou Jammeh alias T boy left Banjul on Tuesday to join the rest of the team in Germany.

Captain Jatto Ceesay and Sefo Soley are the big absentees in the Algerian expedition.

Njogu Demba is expected to mark his debut in the Scorpions line up on Sunday.
