Modou Bojang, said to be mentally deranged, on Sunday night reportedly killed his father, Malamin Bojang, in Bundung Mauritania.

Modou is reported to have battered his father’s head into pieces with a big hammer, consequently killing him instantly.

According to sources, Modou was recently released from the mental hospital (Campama) in Banjul where he was undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, Modou is said to have been arrested and is helping the police with their investigations.
