Seedia A. Dampha, an 11-year-old resident of Bundung, Serrekunda, is seeking financial support to undergo medical treatment overseas.

According to a medical report, issued by the Medical Research Council (MRC), Seedia was admitted at the hospital with a congestive cardiac failure, which was secondary to a congenital heart defect. The report then recommended a “reparative cardiac surgery” to restore the 11-year old’s health.

Paphoday Dampha, Seedia’s wife, who was accompanied to the Daily Observer, by Kantong Kassama, Managing Director of Dingareh Insurance Brokers, expressed worries about the deteriorating condition of his son’s health.

Mr Dampha disclosed that his son has been on medication from several medical units in the country, but his condition remains the same.

He then appealed to the government, NGOs, parastatals, individuals and companies, to render assistance to reverse the health condition of his son.
