GNL pays lucky winner

The Gambia National Lottery (GNL), last Friday paid a cheque for D130,400 (one hundred thirty thousand and four hundred Dalasi) to one Sediky Adams, a resident of Latri Kunda German, at a ceremony held at the GNL Head Office, Banjul.

Ms Mai Bah, Marketing Assistant at the Gambia National Lottery (GNL), speaking at the presentation ceremony congratulated Mr Sediky Adams, for winning the prize.

She urged people to patronise the GNL, by using their products in the market.

According to her, GNL is an equal employer whose sole aim, is to contribute towards socio-economic development of The Gambia and humanity at large.

She assured her company’s readiness to pay its lucky winners on time.

Mr Sediky Adams, the elated winner, said he will wisely use the money.

He thanked GNL for what he called "their immense contributions towards economic development of The Gambia and her people".

Dembo Fanta Bojang, Managing Director of GNL presented the cheque to the lucky winner.

The occasion was attended by family members of the winner, officials of the GNL and media practitioners.
