Assembly goes to extra-ordinary session

The second extra-ordinary meeting of the National Assembly in the 2007 Legislative year will be convened tomorrow, Wednesday 31st October 2007  at 11.00 am prompt in the Assembly Chambers in Banjul,  reports from the Office of the Clerk of the National Assembly revealed yesterday.

The full text of the release reads: “This is to announce for the information of the general public that an Extra-Ordinary meeting of the National Assembly in the 2007 Legislative year is to be convened on Wednesday 31st October 2007 at 11:00 am prompt in the Assembly Chambers.

Accordingly, all Honourable members of the National Assembly are kindly urged to attend and on time.

Pertinently, members of the general public, the Diplomatic community, Civil Society Organisations and the media who may wish to attend may do so without further permission on first-come-first- serve basis”.
