GNL Setting the Pace

The Gambia National Lottery Company (GNL) shows no sign of abating in its leadership as the company launches four new products today Monday.

In his remarks at a press briefing held at the Arch 22 bar and restaurant last Wednesday, the Managing Director of GNL Mr. Dembo F. Bojang, noted that the introduction of the new products is geared towards job creation and poverty alleviation, adding that the sky is the limit as far as job creation is concerned.

He said that the star prize of the new product is a brand new car. Bringing back Joni –joni in the centre as a consolation prize. He further urged customers and the general public, to continue purchasing their products, as they show no sign of abating in support of health, education and sport. “This is a showcase in poverty alleviation,” said Mr. Bojang

Mr. Fabakary Jammeh, the marketing manager of the company, said that GNL, after ten years in existence, remains to the forefront in enhancing the social and economic health of the country by creating employment for the youth and boosting the social responsibility of the communities they serve.

Mr Jammeh added that GNL contributes immensely to the social development of the country and will continue to render benefits to the communities they serve. He added that from Tuesday the 11th of December GNL will expand their marketing to two new places; Gunjur in the southern kombo and Kaur in the CRR. It is worth mentioning that GNL is here to help poor as they fix their ticket price at ten Dalasi.
