Changes in the High Court Division

The division of the High Court has effected some changes to take effect from 1st October 2007 when the new legal term commences.

According to a circular issued by the office of the Judicial Secretary to all practising lawyers, all members of staff and members of the public are kindly informed that the certain changes have been made in the Division of the High Court.

The circular notified that cases pending in each Division are transferred to the judge assigned in the said Division.

The Commercial Division, in the same exercise, has been assigned to Justice Ama Dordize and Justice E.A. Ota.

The Civil and Land Division has also been assigned to Justice Avril Anin-Yeboah while the Criminal Division is assigned to Justice M.M. Yamoa.

The Miscellaneous and Family Division is assigned to Justice H.C. Roche and the Brikama and Basse High Courts are being assigned to Justice Sanji M. Monageng.
