14 Gambian Foreign Players Storm Banjul

3 others expected today

Barely four days before the most talked out Nations Cup qualifier encounter between The Gambia and Algeria, 14 out the 17 Gambian Foreign based players invited by the Gambia Football Association (GFA), have already honoured the invitation.

The first batch to arrive in Banjul last Sunday were Assan Jatta (Bierrhoff) and Mustapha Jarju (Tubabo) of Lierse SK in Belgium, Edrissa Sonko of Wallsall in England and Musa Bajaha of Virljo in Sweden.
A contingent of 10 players was expected last night in Banjul.

They are: Ebrima Sohna of Sandfjorg in Finland, Ebrima Sawaneh of Beveren in Belgium, Abdoulie Corr (Paco) of KPV Kokkola in Finland, Mathew Mendy of KFC Ver Dinger in Germany, Lamin Conateh (Babayeh) of Assyriska in Sweden, Abdou Jammeh (-Boy) of Telecomn in Russia, Mustapha Kamal Ndow of Doxa Kotokopias in Cyprus, Modou Jagne of Atach SCR, Pa Saikou Kujabi of Gak Graz and Pa Ousman Sonko of Red bull Salzburg all in Austria.

Meanwhile the last three players to join the team to camp today would be Njogu Demba of EFB Efjberg in Denmark, Ousman Jallow of Al-Ain in the United Arab Emirates and Yankuba Ceesay alias Maal of Alianza Athletico in Peru.
