According to GRTS, Dr Kelsela told journalists in an interview shortly after her audience with the vice-president that her meeting with the vice-president was fruitful.
She said their discussion centered on how the World Bank can give out additional resources for The Gambia’s development aspirations.

She also expressed hope that her mission to State House would enable her to have better understanding of the country’s economic  challenges.
Musa Gibril Bala Gaye, the secretary of state for Finance and Economic Affairs, said Dr Kelsela’s Banjul visit was meant to exchange views on World Bank intervention in The Gambia, as well as map out possibilities for future cooperation.
