Music lovers in the town of Bansang recently honoured Njie B Da Conqueror, a Farafenni-born music star, when they launched a fan club to his credit.

The launching of the Njie B Fan Club which was done in pomp and pageantry was attended by all those who matter in the provincial town.

In a chat with this paper, the Coordinator of the Njie B Fan Club in Bansang, Foday Ceesay said the fan club is geared towards promoting the image of Njie B as well as drumming up financial support for the artist.

The President of the Fan Club, DJ Bubs, a renowned music promoter, called on Gambians to support local artists so as to develop the Gambia music industry.
