Brikama Maintain Lead in Second Division

Despite losing to Interior FC in the Gambia Football Association Division 2006/7 league, the Western Division boys (Brikama FC), are still leading the second division table with 14 points.

After their victory over Nema FC in their match in hand which was played on Wednesday, the Western boys lost to Interior FC 3-2, this being their first defeat in the ongoing Second League matches.

They collected 14 points in seven matches after winning four games, playing a draw in two, and losing one. They scored thirteen goals and conceded eight.

Meanwhile, the second position holder is newly- promoted Serrekunda East who are also maintaining their position in the table with thirteen points.
