Man Gets Six Years for Attempted Rape

The Brikama Magistrates’ Court, presided over by magistrate Edrisa Mbai, has delivered judgement in the Yundum attempted rape case.

One Gibril Camara had admitted responsibility for threatening a certain woman with a knife as well as assaulting her in an apparent attempt to rape her.

He was, therefore, sentenced to serve a six-year jail term and with hard labour for the two-count charges.
