Members of the Western Region Youths and Sports Committee converged at the Brikama Youth and Sports Mini-stadium last weekend as part of its annual congress to discuss matters relating to sports development in the region.

Lamin King Colley, Chairman of the Committee, said the occasion was organised to discuss the forthcoming GFA third Division Qualifiers slated for later this month.

He revealed that the registration fee for clubs is pegged at D2000 this year.

He used the opportunity to express his confidence that the committee will do its level best to promote, improve and develop football in the region.

The acting Secretary General of the committee Alhagie Darboe, who spoke at the occasion expressed similar sentiments.
