Shop breaker remanded

One Ebrima Touray was on Monday bought before the Brikama Magistrates court presided over by Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh charged with shop breaking and stealing.

According to the particulars of the case, on the 30th of September, 2008, at Lamin, Ebrima Touray broke into the shop of one Ndey Jarju and stole nine dozen artificial hair machines valued at D1,800, four cooler boxes valued at D8000, two dozen baby lotion bottles valued at D1400, fifty pairs of lady shoes valued at D3,500, one carton of Jumbo valued at D1,700, two buckets of hair shampoo valued at D300, twenty sewn clothes valued at D2000, fifteen pairs of shoes, three padlocks and flasks valued at D1500.

Ebrima Touray pleaded guilty to the charges. Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh then sent him back to remand at Mile Two. The case was adjourned to 27 October
