The 94 accused persons, involving young and elderly men, are facing multiple charges, including wilful damage to properties during a riotious demand for some plot of lands they claimed to be theirs, from one Lamin Jarju of Babylon Village. They are being represented by lawyer Antouman Gaye in the trial.

So far, the case has received the testimonies of two prosecution witnesses, including the complainant, Lamin Jarju.

During the last sitting, Seikh Sohna, the second prosecution witness (whom defence counsel Gaye identified as the "chief driver" among Lamin Jarju’s crew), is expected to continue his testimony today. It is also expected that Mr Sohna would be cross-examined by defence counsel Gaye, today.
