Basiru Janneh, a resident of Bundung, will in the penultimate month of this year return to the Bundung Magistrates’ Court as his trial over charges of threatening to kill his father takes centre-stage.
He was on Tuesday arraigned before magistrate Buba Jawo on suspicion of threatening to take the life of his father, causing willful damage to property and common assault.
Basiru, according to the facts of the matter, assaulted his father by beating him all over his face. He was also alleged of damaging the door and window glasses his father as well as threatening to kill him.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and is expected back in court on 13 November 2007.
