According to the police prosecutor, Sergeant 1042 Kujabi, on or about October 23, 2007, along the Senegambia Highway, in the KMC, Bakafu Cham drove a private motor vehicle with the registration number BJL 1032 E, without due care and attention thereby causing an accident.

Bakafu Cham who pleaded guilty, in his mitigation plea, begged the court to have mercy on him adding that he is a first time offender.

Magistrate Kumba Sillah-Camara, in her ruling, said traffic violators have become rampant in her jurisdiction, and though he had shown remorse, anybody found guilty before her will not go scotfree.
