Wednesday, November 28, 2007

Bamba Bah, a middle-aged man, will early next week go on trial at the Brikama Magistrates’ Court on suspicion of cattle rustling.

Bamba’s case will go to trial early December after he entered a plea of not guilty to charges of stealing.

He was, on Monday, formally charged with stealing a bull two weeks ago in Darsilameh village in Kombo Central. The bull, said to be property of one Tijan Jammeh, was valued at D8000.

The case resumes December 4.
