Trust Bank sued

Augustu’s Sarr, former employee and Branch Manager of the Trust Bank Farafenni, Gambia Ltd have dragged his ex-employers to court, seeking for the recovery of D186, 760.85, being the emolument, due to him from the period of November 2005 to August 2007.

Mr Sarr was initially dragged to court, by Trust Bank, for stealing over million of Dalasi, but was later acquitted and discharged by the High Court after the prosecution failed to prove its case beyond all reasonable doubts.
This new twist came after he had sat for two years without salary and is now seeking courts redress for the payment to be effected and all other benefits due to him with 25% interest.

According to the particulars, the plainitiff, Mr Sarr is claiming the recovery of the sum of D186,760.85, being the emolument due and owing to him by the defendant for the  period of November 2005 to August 2007.
Interest on the said sum D186,760.85, at the rate of 25% per annum from November 2005 to date of judgement and thereafter at the rate of 4% to day of the payment.

The plainfiff is also claiming his monthly emolument in arrears as the same become due and payable until such a time that he retires from the services of the defendant.
