Yusupha Jarjue, a native Gunjur, Kombo South who is currently domiciling in the Federal Republic of Germany recently donated a trophy and an undisclosed amount of money to the Gunjur Youth and Sports Development Association (GYSDA).

Speaking at the presentation ceremony held at the Gunjur Upper Basic School, the donor Mr. Yusupha Jarjue, said the gesture is part of his contribution towards the promotion and development of sports especially football in the coastal town.

He also expressed his willingness to support other sporting disciplines, revealing that he has plans to stage an annual marathon competition in Gunjur.
