15 Youths Trained in Bee Keeping Skills

15 youths from Gunjur village in Kombo South recently concluded a two-week training workshop on bee keeping at Sifoe Farm.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Director of Gunjur Environmental and Protection Development Group (GEPDG), Mr. Badara Njie Bajor urged participants to make good use of the knowledge gained during the workshop and share it with their communities and friends.

He thanked the participants for their commitment and hard work.

For his part, Mangiki Jabang, the President of Sifoe Bee-Keeping Association thanked GEPDG for organising the training, noting that it would greatly aid the participants with skills in both bee keeping and management.

He urged the participants to take bee keeping as their occupation and always work towards the development of The Gambia.
