Sierra Leonian President Visits Gunjur Fisheries Centre

As part of his state visit to The Gambia the Sierra Leonian President, Koroma, visited Gunjur beach on Saturday.

After receiving a warm welcome from the people of Gunjur the president visited different areas in the environs of the beach. He visited the smoke fisheries centre and ice plant among other places.

Speaking to a small gathering in the conference room of the ice plant, President Koroma said his visit to The Gambia aims to strengthen the bi-lateral relationship between the sister nations. He commended the Gambian government for supporting women in various sectors. He promised that The Gambia and Sierra Leone’s good relationship will continue to go from strength to strength, as it is one of his main priorities. He finally wished all the people everlasting peace and progress.
