Janjangbureh Man Docked

Saturday, July 28, 2007

The stage is now set for hearing of testimonies into the trial of one Musa Keita over allegation of attempting to stab a native of Janjanbureh in the Central River Region of The Gambia.

Police prosecutor, 1260 Colley, is currently preoccupied with marshalling prosecution witnesses to give way to the trial proper.

Musa Keita recently appeared before travelling magistrate Sheriff Tabally in Janjangbureh where he was charged with the offence of attempting to stab one Dawda Suso with a knife.

However, when his alleged offence was read in English and interpreted to him in the language he understand, he denied the charge and prosecutor Colley is now left with the burden of establishing his guilt beyond any reasonable doubt.
